Okay so here are some of the ideas that I was thinking about for the company flyer.  To kill 2 birds with 1 stone I was thinking about putting the business card together with the flyer.  The card will be perforated so the viewer can tear it off.  The card will also fold over the front cover of the flyer.  Flyer size will be 6x6 and the business card will be 2.5x3inches.  Both will be printed on heavy stock anywhere from 28-60lbs. paper.  The flyer will include our mission statement, list of services, illustration work and some examples of what we do.

I know we are adding more buttons... Once we get the logo finalized ill be able to complete the design... here is what I have so far.

here are some of the comps i've created so far. i still would like to do some experimenting with LEDS or equalizers. i'm going to keep experimenting, let me know if you guys have a preference.

Just to keep everyone posted with what's going on with me, I'm brainstorming on the print pieces that I was assigned.  Eduardo, is it okay if I use your play button idea for the shape and look of the business card?  That was a good idea and I think it'll match.  What does everyone else think about that?  I'll ask Lindsey if we're doing print, if we have to mock it up, I'm pretty sure, but I'll ask anyway.

I started the flyer. Here is what I have done so far. I also began my research for the body copy information. I did a bunch of research for what nightclub flyers look like also, just for inspiration.

kinda what you have seen already... are we changing the name? I guess its kinda late to be asking seeing how class is tomorrow. my bad. lets figure it out tomorrow and well try to get the logo going... I think we need something a little more hand drawn for the logo

Time Sheets & Type

Thanks for the reminder about the time sheets. I've been working on some type solutions and a few sketches. Here are some of the types I've been playing around with. The black one is one that I was sort of building from blocks and shapes.

Hey guys,

Did anyone get Preston's email?  If you missed it, he was saying that he couldn't find an open domain name with Digital Evolution so he was thinking about changing it to MK II, but nothing is final yet, we'll talk about it more in class.  I've been working on the fonts as well as trying to come up with an icon to go with the type, but I'm drawing blanks so far.

i have been looking at fonts for our logo. i was wondering if there was anything else i should be doing. i really want to get the ball rolling with our project. i hope we have a bunch of lad time in class so we can all work in the web page together.
